What are research peptides?
Research peptides are short chains of amino acids synthesised for use in scientific and laboratory research. They are strictly for in vitro (outside the body) research use only and are not intended for human or veterinary consumption.
What purity are your peptides?
Our peptides are manufactured to a minimum purity of >99%. They are vendor tested by Janoshik, the world's leading peptide tester, based in Slovakia.
How should I store peptides?
It depends on the product. Peptide vials must be stored in a freezer. Once a peptide has been reconstituted, it should be stored in a fridge.
How do I reconstitute a peptide?
Most peptides can be reconstituted using bacteriostatic water or acetic acid (0.6%), depending on the peptide. We recommend consulting the product-specific guidance available in our Reconstituting / Storage section.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship worldwide using trusted carriers including Royal Mail, DHL Express, and Deutsche Post. Delivery times vary by destination.
What is your same-day dispatch policy?
All orders placed before 3PM (Monday to Friday) are dispatched on the same day. Orders placed after 3PM or on weekends will be dispatched on the next business day.
Can I track my order?
Yes. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive tracking information by email so you can monitor delivery in real time.
UK law and research use
Are peptides legal in the UK?
Yes, when they are supplied only for laboratory research. The UK does not ban peptides as a group. The limit is on selling or advertising them as medicines, or for human or veterinary use, without authorisation from the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA). My UK Peptides supplies research compounds for laboratory use only. We do not make treatment, dosing, or health claims. Buyers must follow the rules that apply to their own work.
Why are products sold for research use only?
A product intended as a medicine needs an MHRA licence. Most peptides used in laboratories have not been licensed that way. Supplying them for research, with clear labelling and no therapeutic claims, is the correct route. Research use only is the product category. It is not a line added to avoid the rules.
Are research peptides controlled drugs?
Many peptides sold for laboratory research are not controlled drugs. That can still depend on the exact compound, and on how it is described or supplied. One compound can be treated differently from another, and classifications can change. Check the current rules for your own work. This page explains how we supply products. It is not legal advice.
What should I check before buying research peptides in the UK?
Look for research-use-only labelling, no medical claims, and a certificate of analysis for the batch. You should also be able to identify the supplier, read the shipping and returns information, and contact the business. My UK Peptides has supplied research peptides since 2011 and publishes batch certificates.
Does legal supply mean a peptide is safe for people to use?
No. A peptide can be lawful to sell for research and still not be an approved medicine. Being able to buy it does not mean it is safe, or allowed, for a person or an animal to take. Our products are not for human or veterinary use.
Can you tell me what a product does or how to use it?
No. We cannot provide any information about what a product does, its effects, or how to dose it, and any message asking for this will be ignored. Our products are sold strictly for laboratory research use only, and giving usage or dosing guidance is not permitted under UK law.
