Every time a researcher exposes a reconstituted peptide to elevated temperature, light, or changing pH, they are accelerating processes that attack the very bonds holding the compound together. Lyophilised storage, correct reconstitution technique, and limited freeze-thaw cycling are all evidence-based strategies derived from this fundamental chemistry.
